This pretty much a refrence to a comic strip you haven’t read. In it a pig is in the center panel holding a candle, asking “Is life just a flash of light between two blacks?” The first and last panels were completely black. If I were a Cpt. Obvious I would explain the connection but If you’re too stupid to get it then don’t bother.
I added the decmber day in Finand part to make it more than a semi-funny statement. Now it’s a joke and you don’t get it untill I give you the explanation out of pity. also light only 1/9 of a day is a little too much in the wintery Finland, but hey… It’s funny because it’s true. wait What?

Last sunday when I made a statement that all art is commercial therefore all art fails, I was kinda badly generalizing. What I meant was: All (F)”art” fails. meaning that all art made by all those DeviantArt furrfags and the fartists represented in the comic, fails hard. If you can do your art with complete passion, even if you’re not paid, and try to improve it, instad of just doing everything that comes into your mind and then go get some easy money, then your art wins.
Moral of the story: fuck devianTART and what it has done to this world.

All art is commercial, therefore all art fails. I don’t really have anything more to say about this strip, but below I’ll tell about the making of the strip:
Originally I got the “inspiration” from my colour photography class, where we talked about the weight of the colours. Red is a very heavy colour and our techer drew this: CLICK HERE to illustrate how unbalanced the image feels if there is bright red placed badly.

Also I have bad news: Wonderful world 1 has been put on hiatus. Something came up and I can’t do it right now, but I’ll post a .zip file of the unreleased strips, hopefully, next sunday.
